2015 Edition – Overview

Following its successful launch in 2014, the PackTheFuture Award is being presented this year for the second time and with 57 entries has surpassed the high standard set the previous year.The PackTheFuture Award is based on an initiative by ELIPSO, the French Plastics and Flexible Packaging Association, and the IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen e.V. The packaging prize aims to raise awareness throughout Europe of the potential for innovation and sustainability of plastic packaging.

Prizes are awarded for product developments in three categories:

Ecodesign
Product Protection
Social Benefit

A Pre-Jury of technical experts plus a cross-sector Grand Jury chose the winners in a rigorous selection process. This year, too, the jurors have done a fantastic job. Critical and fair appraisal of so many innovative products is only possible with the support of experienced industry representatives.
